Water Resources | Aquatic Ecology | Nutrient Biogeochemistry

Hi, I'm Lienne!

I recently completed my Ph.D. in Environmental Science at Indiana University's O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs and currently work as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the St. Croix Watershed Research Station near the Twin Cities, MN. My research focuses on nutrient cycling, transport, and stoichiometry in freshwater ecosystems, with a particular focus on nutrient biogeochemistry and its role in facilitating harmful algal blooms. The ultimate goal of my work is to better understand how society and people alter the function and integrity of our critical freshwater ecosystems.
